Local LGBTI communities and allies in Sudan commemorated the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia 2014 with various actions in the capital Khartoum. Events included a day of activities, sessions and seminars around May 17. The ‘Everyone is Different’ Campaign, coordinated by activists in Egypt, also ran in Sudan over the week of May 17.
