Lebanon IDAHO Report 2012

To mark IDAHO 2012, a group of activists and bloggers put up posters around Beirut featuring slogans decrying the censorship they felt that Lebanon imposed on homosexuality, in tandem with a website that allowed people to share their experiences of homophobia.

A fundraiser was also held in Beirut which drew from 300-400 participants and which included a photo installation entitled “OUT: Portraits of a proud community” which came from Montreal in Canada and featured photos of Lebanese and Arab LGBT people living abroad.
