IDAHOTB DAHOT International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia
The International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia 2013 will be observed in three different districts in the Indian State of West Bengal: Howrah, Kolkata and North 24 Pargonas!
As part of the program in Kolkata people linked to the groups of PLUS Kolkata and Prothoma Shelter Home, a street photo exhibition within their ‘ME BY ME’ project took place. The same night, a rainbow flashmob was held near the shelter home.
In Howrah and Salt Lake near activists were also set to hold a candle light vigil and awareness campaign. A special visibility will also be given to Trans Murder Monitoring report and to a social study report on the Day.
