It is now just over a month to go to the 9th annual International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia. This week has seen an incredible amount of information come in about new from all four corners of the world.

Iranti-Org is coordinating the event that will take place on the 17th May 2013 on the southern side of Africa. The group has invited all LGBTI activists to participate in a joint action for May 17 and has joined forces this year with a wide range of different LGBTI organizations including TIA, FEW, CAL, HIVOS, GAL, ARASA, SHE, UTHINGO-THE RAINBOW and many others

The national LGBT Network, Rainbow Community Kampuchea (RoCK), is planning a series of new events in the capital, Phnom Penh, to mark Cambodia’s Pride Week, May 12th – 19th, which will also coincide with International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia 2013.

In Sydney highlights included the the distribution of the 2013 IDENTITY Catalogue – which represents sexually diverse multicultural minority groups, and the launch of the Your Own Safety Campaign.
