IDAHOT 2016 country reports: Jordan

In Amman, an IDAHOT community event brought together some 40 people. The day’s agenda included a play of Lesbian girl coming out, a lecture on the legal framework  in Jordan, a lecture on the global focus issue “Homophobia  and Mental health”, an interview with a transgender girl, and a lecture on HIV. Though held in total confidentiality, the event was important in terms of community building and fostering links with Human Rights organisations
