Activists in Spain launched the project “Lo soy/I am” to demand respect for, and claim the image of, transgender women in Central America. The awareness campaign has the slogan: “Do not look like a woman, I am.”

Activists in Lithuania celebrated IDAHO 2012 with Rainbow Days, which opened with a press conference held in the Parliament.

In Belize, a country which has laws criminalizing same-sex relationships, activists launched online actions on Facebook tackling the issue of homophobia. LGBT groups also organised a media conference and reached out to various ministries to promote legislative change.

Activists in Uganda organized a four-day event with the theme “Don’t Punish Love, Punish Violence” in commemoration of IDAHO 2012.
