Saint Lucia IDAHO Report 2012

Members of the LGBT community and their allies took part in the first “Walk for Tolerance” from the Ministry of Education to the Prime Minister’s office. The theme of the Walk was “Eradicate Hate: Educate!”

It was the culmination of three days of training in which members of the local LGBT community and allies learnt how to document human rights abuses against LGBT people, and members of the St Lucian police were trained in receiving reports of LGBT abuses in a non-discriminatory fashion.
